  1. What makes teak wood a premium material for furniture?

Teak wood (Tectona grandis) is renowned for its natural oils and high silica content. These properties make it exceptionally durable, highly resistant to moisture, rot, pests (like termites), and weather variations. It is truly the gold standard for both indoor and outdoor furniture due to its longevity.

  1. Is your teak wood legally and sustainably sourced?

Yes. We are fully committed to sustainable practices. Our teak is sourced from government-certified plantations and/or certified suppliers. We adhere to all Indonesian timber legality standards like SVLK ( FLEGT) and FSC, ensuring our wood is harvested responsibly and legally.

  1. What grade of teak wood do you use?

We primarily use Grade A and B teak wood for Outdoor and grade C for Indoor with finishing

  • Grade A is the premium heartwood from the center of the tree, characterized by a uniform golden-brown color, fine grain, and no knots. It offers the best durability.
  • Grade B the level below Grade A but still with uniform color in the visible part and there is still sapwood in hidden area. This grade is the best seller with uniform color on open area with competitive price
  • Grade C the lowest grade of teak. It is taken from the outer sections of the timber of a mature log. This wood has an inconsistent color, featuring both white and brown areas. Therefore, we use this grade exclusively for indoor purposes and apply a stain/finis to it. The strength of this grade of wood is still very good for indoor use.”

  1. Are your products Kiln-Dried ?

Absolutely. All our teak wood components are properly kiln-dried (oven-dried) to achieve the optimal moisture content (typically $8\%-12\%$). This process minimizes the risk of cracking, warping, or movement due to climate changes.

  1. Can I use your indoor furniture outdoors, or vice versa?

  • Indoor Furniture: While made from durable teak, our indoor pieces often feature specialized finishes (like lacquer or certain stains) and designs that are not optimized for constant sun and rain exposure. We recommend keeping indoor pieces indoors.
  • Outdoor Furniture: Our outdoor pieces are built with robust construction and specific weatherproof finishes (often natural oil or teak protector) or in fine sanded only that designed to withstand the elements, making them perfectly safe and durable for outdoor use.

  1. Will outdoor teak furniture change color?

Yes, this is a natural process and a desired characteristic of teak. When exposed to the sun and rain, the teak will gradually weather from its original golden-brown color to a beautiful, soft silver-gray patina. This change is purely aesthetic and does not affect the structural integrity of the wood. And you could also maintenance the brown color with teak oil for maintenance

  1. How should I care for my indoor teak furniture?

For indoor teak, simply dust regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. We recommend occasional polishing with a high-quality furniture polish suitable for the specific finish (oil, lacquer, etc.) on your piece.

  1. How should I maintain my outdoor teak furniture?

  • To Preserve the Golden Color: Apply a quality teak sealer or protector every 6-12 months.
  • To Embrace the Patina: No sealing is required. Simply clean the furniture 1-2 times a year with mild soap and water to remove dirt and mildew.

  1. Do you accept custom design requests?

Yes, we specialize in custom furniture production for wholesale and project. If you have a specific design, size, or finish requirement for your project , please send us your drawings or ideas. We will provide a quotation and a production timeline.

  1. What is your typical lead time for an order?

The lead time depends on the order quantity and whether the items are in stock or require production.

  • In-stock items: Typically 2-3 weeks for processing and local delivery.
  • New Production/Custom Orders: Usually 7-12 weeks, depending on the complexity and volume of the order. We will provide a precise timeline upon order confirmation.

  1. What are your shipping and delivery options?

We ship globally and locally. Shipping costs and methods (FCL/LCL for international) are calculated based on your destination and order volume. We handle all necessary export documentation.

  1. What if I receive an item that is damaged or incorrect?

If you receive an item that is damaged or does not match your order, you must immediately document the issue by taking clear photos and videos of all affected items. Our team will review and investigate your report and will provide an appropriate solution.
